What to Consider when Building a PC for Gaming and Business

If you’re a business owner and a gaming fan, know that you’re not alone. People like Elon Musk, Larry Page, and Mark Zuckerberg have all expressed their passion for gaming and it’s probably one of the only pastimes you’ll ever hear them talking about.

Juggling gaming and business is not always easy, however. You don’t only need to manage your time properly and avoid procrastination, but you also need to have a computer setup that allows you to both enjoy games and work. If this is what you are looking into, here are some of the things you should consider when building a machine that will work both for gaming and business.

CPU Usually Doesn’t Matter – But it Does Here

Most people who are familiar with gaming and gaming PCs know that most games rely principally on the GPU, or graphics card, to render games. This is why most people will suggest that you get a modest CPU and spend on the GPU. But, depending on your line of business, you might need a good CPU as well.

If you’re a graphic designer or do video editing, then you will need a strong CPU as you’ll most likely be doing a lot of multitasking and these programs tend to be very demanding for your CPU.  You also need a good CPU if you need to use multiple applications at once and collaborate remotely.

This is why you should get a machine around the 3.5hz to 4hz with six cores and 12 threads mark if you do any CPU-heavy tasks. Not only will your computer run smoothly, but you’ll be able to enjoy games like racing sims on the highest settings too.

    Choosing the Right Desk

You also have to get a desk that will allow you to get work done and play comfortably. Get a nice professional-looking desk that has plenty of storage. Make sure that it has adjustable legs and a keyboard platform as well.

    Choose Proper Peripherals

Peripherals will affect both your productivity when working and your performance when gaming. Game-oriented peripherals would work great here as the high performance they offer can translate to work as well.

A nice gaming mouse will usually be bigger and more ergonomic and have keys on it as well. These keys can be used in the game to check out menus or perform multi-stroke actions, but they can also be programmed to perform certain actions when working.

You should also get a Lenovo 240hz Gaming Monitors and a high-end mechanical keyboard if you want to perform to the highest level on both fronts. A gaming monitor with a high refresh rate will be much easier on the eyes because of lesser flickering.

This means that you’ll not only get much smoother gameplay but suffer minimal eye strain when working. A mechanical keyboard, on the other hand, will feel much more comfortable and pleasurable, which will make both your typing and gaming experience better.

    Conclusion

As you can see, building a gaming PC that works both for work and play doesn’t have to be complicated. Follow our tips and tips and feel free to make adjustments depending on your needs.
